Hi there! I’m Amber, a marine scientist fascinated by the deep-rooted relationship between humans and the ocean.

My research is focused in tropical coastal ecosystems and coastal communities – I combine marine ecology, climate science and social research to address issues of resilience and adaptation in our rapidly changing world.

I have taken part and led scientific expeditions around the world and I was recently named a 2022 Explorer with the Scientific Exploration Society.
